I think that Meg sees herself differently from others cause she has a brother who is a genius and 5 years old. Her mother is gorgous, and her father is gone. She puts herself down.
Meg Murry feels like an outcast at school because when she is at school, she feels and acts so disturbed and mean because her father is no where to be found. She yells and gives an attitude to even the principal.
